We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager on behalf of our client. As Project Manager, you will be part of a highly dedicated team working on exciting projects to shipyards around the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects both technically and commercially, and should expect to travel 40 to 80 days per year to countries around the world. This is a temporary position with a duration of 6-12 months, but with the possibility of an extension and a permanent employment. All design and project management takes place in their modern head-office in Vestby, south-east of Oslo.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning, executing, and controlling projects, including managing finance, resources, suppliers, and risk
Providing daily follow-up on projects and project personnel, as well as technical manager
Providing monthly status reports and forecasting finance and progress of projects
Communicating with customers and reporting to the Operations Manager

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Demonstrated experience as a multidisciplinary project manager, with a track record of successfully managing EPC projects
Preference given to candidates with experience in the oil and gas industry
Strong communication skills and experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Asia and South America
Goal-oriented and self-driven, with excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
University degree in Engineering, Operations Management or other degree relevant to the position
