PNO has been exploring the Norwegian shelf since 2012, and we will continue to do so in the years to come. Our recent acquisition of 12.3% of the Brage field signals a new phase and a new beginning for our organisation. As we expand our already promising exploration portfolio, mature discoveries to production, and add assets to our production portfolio, we are looking for talented individuals to join us in this exciting adventure that starts now.

• we will be an independent license partner or operator of producing fields on the NCS with a robust platform for further growth,

• we continue developing an effective hands-on operating organisation to extract the maximum value from every asset through domain knowledge, smart asset management, and active involvement,

Tasks:

• Regional screening and leads/prospects generation and maturation
• Identifying the most viable and best prospects for license rounds, farm-ins and drilling
• Active participation in operated and partner-operated licence committees
• Resource assessments, risk analyses and economic evaluations
• Support management with strategic decision-making
• Mentor junior geologists and contribute to their professional development.

 Qualifications:

• MSc/PhD in Geoscience
• 5+ years experience in exploration, including licensing rounds and license work, preferably also with operated licenses
• Proven track record and diverse exploration experience from Norwegian offshore basins
• Experienced in both Geology and Geophysics with broad experience in seismic interpretation, prospect generation and reservoir characterization
• Ability to effectively work and integrate across the subsurface disciplines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Good experience using different exploration-related software
• Some knowledge of CCS (carbon capture and storage) related geology is appreciated but not required
