IT Manager in an international IT start-up

We are looking for an IT Manager to lead our global IT and ISMS function. We value critical thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to build upon our existing processes while also managing day-to-day internal customer requests.

We expect you to bring a cool head, a desire to learn, solid troubleshooting experience, self-management, and motivation to lead the evolution of the IT and ISMS environment in an exciting SaaS company. 

As our IT Manager, you will build professional rapport with internal customers and work across our offices. You will personally execute governance/risk/compliance and strategic IT and ISMS initiatives along with day-to-day tasks such as laptop provisioning, laptop issue troubleshooting, SaaS user administration and G-suite administration.

Areas of responsibility

IT Responsibilities:

• Provide first-class end-user IT Support to our internationally distributed team for everything from password resets to resources access management to reporting on all aspects of IT spending.
• Own the hardware lifecycle from beginning to end. Purchasing, provisioning, deploying laptops and monitors, coordinating repairs, and collecting, wiping, and disposing of retired laptops.
• Manage all aspects of access to the systems and SaaS platforms we use internally, including creating, suspending, and deleting accounts, managing group memberships, and auditing users.
• Create cost reports on SaaS software and Cloud resource spending.
• Negotiate contract renewals for SaaS software and tools used by the organisation.
• Based on organisation needs, evaluate and propose software tools.
• Work closely with our people department on on-boarding and off-boarding employees.

ISMS Responsibilities:

• Own the ISO-27001 audit preparation and readiness.
• Lead the company in ISMS across our global footprint.
• Set best practice guidelines and educate end-users on maintaining their security posture.
• Constantly audit all systems against current company enrolment and watch for gaps in our security

Our Expectations

• 4+ years of proven experience of providing professional IT support on macOS or Windows 10 users in a remote environment
• Experience developing new processes, refining existing controls, and a knack for documenting it all 
• Strong management skills in SaaS platforms, especially Google Workspace, Azure, Slack, Zoom, and 1Password
• Ability to partner with teammates at all levels from individual contributors to executives
• Analytical and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Work Experience

• Cloud system administration
• Experience in working with ISO 27001 certification
