Brevik Engineering (BE) is a naval architect- and marine engineering company with head office in Brevik, Norway. BE has a long history with design of FPSO’s, semi-submersible drilling rigs, special vessels and passenger vessels. The company has today a staff of 49 highly qualified engineers.

With an increasing project portfolio, Brevik Engineering seeks a new colleague who will work with design of marine systems and engineering of all types of floating installations and ships.

Job Tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop system descriptions, specifications, and process diagrams
• Analysis, capacity calculations, and dimensioning of systems
• Project implementation with discipline and engineering management, incl. follow-up and correspondence with customers and suppliers

What you bring:

• University education in relevant subjects
• Some years of related experience from oil/gas-, maritime-, or process industry
• Familiarity with computer tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCad P&ID, 3D Plant, Unisim, Pipenet or equivalent
• Multidisciplinary understanding, as well as good knowledge of the industry’s rules and standards
• Good communication skills in both English and Norwegian
