We are looking for an experienced system engineer motivated to work in the space industry. The position is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience within the field of space and surveillance in one of Norways largest space divisions.
Who are we?
The Space and Surveillance division at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has more than 30 years of experience within the space business and delivers a broad spectrum of equipment, systems and services related to space and maritime surveillance customers in more than 40 countries.
Our mechanisms are part of the European heavy-lift launchers Ariane 5 & 6 and NASAs Mars rover Perseverance, and are an integrated part of satellites for communication, navigation, earth observation for climate and environment, as well as scientific space probes and space exploration satellites.
KONGSBERG is the Nordics largest supplier of space equipment to ESA.

What will you do:
- Technical responsible for one or more space projects
- Collaborate as technical point of contact with technically skilled customers
- Technical management of the engineering team, involvement in all phases of project execution from concept to test and delivery
- Manage requirements and verification plans
Your qualifications :
- Experience in the space business is preferred, but not required
- Experience with development of electro mechanical products and systems
- Experience with technical management
- Good English skills
