Airmine is a start-up aiming to help people who are affected by pollen allergies.
We have developed a pollen forecasting model, based on satellite data, weather forecasts, land-use and measurements. Going forward we want to expand coverage and quality of the model. We use both machine learning and more traditional models, and run all our stuff on Azure.
We are looking to strengthen our team with a back-end developer.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for back-end code and infrastructure together with our CTO
- Work closely with an innovative and competent team with a relatively high geek factor
What we are looking for:
- You have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on work experience with back-end development
- Experience writing production level code and handling data in Python
- Master or Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Data Science
- You are capable of quickly acquiring new knowledge/skills and cooperate well within a team; share knowledge, experience and information.
- Very good communication skills in English or Norwegian.
It’s a bonus if you already have:
- Experience from running production systems
- Worked with satellite data
Location: Combination of home office and working from our office at Mesh, Tordenskiolds gate 2, 0160 Oslo, Norway.
Flexible hours (within reason).
