Treasury Manager

Orkla is a leading supplier of branded consumer goods and concept solutions to the consumer, out of home and bakery markets in the Nordics, the Baltics and selected markets in Central Europe and India. Orkla is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and has its headquarters in Oslo, Norway.

Group Treasury is a centralized function within the CFO-area in the Orkla headquarter located at Skøyen, Oslo. The team of 6 dedicated people works closely together and overlap on day-to day-tasks, supported by automated processes. The main objective is to ensure the financial flexibility of the Group, manage liquidity and financial risks within approved policies and limits. Group Treasury operates the internal bank covering all subsidiaries' funding, liquidity, and foreign exchange needs.

The role

As a treasury manager you will have a central role in the daily operations of the internal bank. You will gain experience from all aspects of treasury activities in a large international corporation. You will collaborate with other departments at the HQ and financial managers throughout the Orkla group as well as having frequent contact with Nordic and international banks' markets- and cash management departments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Manage liquidity and foreign exchange positions
• Execute internal and external foreign exchange and loan transactions
• Reconcile transactions
• Answer and follow up enquiries from subsidiaries and banks
• Analysis and reporting on treasury KPIs
• Develop and improve routines and processes

What you'll bring

• Master's degree within Finance, Business, Accounting, or other relevant degree
• 2-5 years of experience from a treasury or finance function
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, database tools, and preferably programming skills
• Knowledge of financial instruments and interest in financial markets
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language, both written and verbal
