UK accountant for a world leading robot company

Are you an accountant with experience with running finance operations in a UK company? We are looking for an accountant to take the lead of our financial operations in our company in England, Saga Robotics Ltd. When you grow into the role, a natural progression would be that you also take charge of accounting in our Norwegian entity, a service we today outsource. This is a newly created position in the company. We offer a varied role where you can significantly impact the buildup of the finance function in Saga. The role will be responsible for running the finance operations in the company, varying amongst others with everything from day to day processing to monthly management accounts and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting from A-Z
• Ensure proper P&L and Balance sheet, and do journals as appropriate
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Month close and financial reporting
• Running the bank process

We believe you also can contribute with

• Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Developing the finance function in a fast growing company by improving processes and make the role a relevant business partner within Saga Robotics
• Follow up on R&D projects/grants and related financial reporting
• Ad hoc analyses and other tasks as they arise

We believe you

• Have at least three years relevant experience with accounting 
• You may be an English citizen living in Norway with hands on experience with running financial operations in a UK company. 
• Have experience with ERP systems. We use Rambase. This is not a requirement to be familiar with from before, but it is beneficial if you want to become a superuser over time.
• Work independently, but also cooperate well with your colleagues
• Wants to contribute in building a well-functioning finance function in a company that is scaling up
• Take ownership and possess a “can do” spirit
• Are proficient with English as a working language

The position is located at our modern, new office in Oslo. Some traveling can be expected.
