DNB Asset Management Summer Internship 2023

We are currently seeking candidates for our summer internship program of 2023. We offer an opportunity to gain unique work experience in one of the largest investment managers in the Nordics. The summer internship lasts 6 to 8 weeks during the period June to August in our Oslo office in Bjørvika.

We are long term investors, and we take a similar approach in how we recruit. An internship with us offers an opportunity to learn about investment management from top professionals, and to develop personal and professional skillset and knowledge. During the summer program, our interns will get an introduction to several business areas of DNB, as well as some of our peers through several social and educational events.

Who we are:

DNB Asset Management is a leading Nordic asset manager with approximately NOK820bn under management. We offer our clients various investment strategies including discretionary mandates within Nordic and global asset classes, both long-only equities, long/short equities, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, multi-assets, multi-manager portfolios and alternative investments.

Summer internship 2023:

We are looking for three to four candidates primarily within the equities team. The internship will consist of a dedicated project such as company/sector research, stock valuation, ESG integration or risk and performance analytics, in addition to helping the asset managers in their day-to-day work.

A dedicated buddy will guide you through your respective tasks and support you in your role. Depending on your project you will be given an opportunity to present your findings to your team and the senior managers.

We also aim to have a fun summer. There will be social events, team activities and workshops where you will have the opportunity to get to know the other summer interns in DNB Asset management and the rest of the organisation.

We are looking for candidates that are:

• Eager to learn more about investment management and finance
• Flexible and team-oriented
• 2nd - 4th year students within business/economics, mathematics, or engineering
• Strong academic results

Recruitment process:

The deadline for sending your application is 20. January 2023. Your application must be in English. In addition to your CV and a cover letter we will require submitted grade transcripts. All uploads must be in PDF.

A 45-minute test will be sent to candidates (please also check your spam folder) the following week after the deadline. Applications will be assessed based on motivation, test results and academic background. Relevant candidates will be invited for initial interviews focusing on background and motivation. Finally, we will invite the top candidates for final interviews with the relevant teams in DNB Asset Management.
