Job Description:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analysis reports
• Periodic SSB reporting
• Prepare or review various schedules, account reconciliations and journal entries, including but not limited to, derivatives and hedge accounting, foreign exchange, fixed assets and tax
• Liaise and collaborate with head office, internal departments and external auditors
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by management
• Work cohesively with the team and assist team members as needed
• Assist in the maintenance of internal control policies

• University accounting/auditing degree or MBA
• Fluent written and oral command of the English language.
• Norwegian language is advantageous but not essential.
• Candidate Minimum 5 years of accounting/reporting experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry.

• Highly organised with good data management skills.
• The candidate should be able to take accountability for their own deliverables and see them through end to end
• Team player who is approachable and actively promotes a high level of interaction across multiple disciplines.
• Good communicator who can communicate with clarity and confidence.
• Must show a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Periodic overtime to meet deadlines to be expected during month/quarter ends
