Technical tester

As a Technical tester, you must understand the opportunities and challenges that come with running test activities in larger and smaller digitization projects. In Cegal, you get the freedom to help design the test run in our project deliveries. For us, testing is about having knowledge of risk and quality of deliveries. We analyze, plan, monitor, evaluate and report results. The purpose is to prevent errors and deliver quality and value to the end user.

What might your working day include?

• Collaboration with solution architects and developers on the choice of architecture adapted to test purposes
• Carry out and follow up test activities within test automation, and/or within performance testing and security testing
• Analyze test results, report errors and suggestions for improvement
• Contribute to knowledge sharing in projects and professional groups

What are your qualifications?
We are looking for someone who has experience with software development and with automated tests.

In addition, you have:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a technical tester in an IT environment
• Documented testing competence - ISTQB Foundation Level Certified Tester or Foundation Level Agile Tester
• Certification within ISTQB Test Automation Engineer or Security Tester / Performance Tester
• Experience with tools for performance testing, monitoring and/or automation such as HP Load Runner, HP QTP, HP UFT, Selenium, FitNesse, etc.
• You must be fluent in Norwegian, both written and spoken
