Senior Point Cloud & Photogrammetry Engineer

For our growing field of 3D modelling and AI inspection we want a person that can manage images and scans, create point clouds and 3D models with textures. The work consists of managing large sets of data in a structured way, creating the point clouds and 3D models, detecting errors and fix them, proactively find more efficient ways of performing the work. At Axess Digital we have built a workflow that allow us to combine drone images, point clouds and 3D models to perform AI inspection, detect degradation and present to clients visually where the defects are. We want to further develop this and build more relevant competence around drone photography, laser scanning, generating point clouds, 3D models adn photogrammetry. Create models that are georeferenced and with correct dimensions.

We are looking for a person that will take responsibility for:

• Creating point clouds and 3d models that are accurately describing the real world
• Export data to be used in other systems or provided for clients
• Can use Reality Capture or similar software with a high skill level
• Assist in improving on the workflows by identifying bottle necks and suggest new solutions

We think you should have following skills to succeed in this position:

• Experience from generating point clouds, 3d modelling or geo-measurements
• High skill level in relevant software
• Knowledge about photography or photogrammetry
• Speak English
• Knowledge about basic programming in Python or similar

Axess Digital family is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Point Cloud & Photogrammetry Engineer to help us with development of our web-based applications for inspection and asset management. You will be responsible for development and maintenance of machine learning models for automated visual inspection of large infrastructure assets (bridges, offshore platforms etc). You will be part of a team that creates a whole integrated software platform connecting machine learning models with 3D visualization and advanced analytics.
