Electrical Design Engineer - AC Switchgear

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER AC SWITCHGEAR

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Electrical Designer Engineer AC Switchgear, reporting to Product Manager Switchgear in the Energy department. In this role, you will be a part of the Product Switchgear Team delivering efficient Energy products to the business. You will be responsible for the Electrical architecture and contribute that we meet our customers expectations.

Key accountabilities

• Electrical architecture in HV and LV Switchgear
• Protection and HMI architecture for the product
• Product engineering in delivery projects
• Life-cycle management of switchgear product portfolio
• Generate and maintain standard documentation and engineering tools
• Technical product support to the delivery organization

Qualifications and experience

• Experience from product development and electrical engineering
• Experience with maritime electrical systems
• Experience with electrical design, preferably in E-Plan or similar tool
• Knowledge of relevant industry standard, classification rules and flag states
• Eplan Pro Panel
• Collaborate with other key resources in the organization to utilize synergies across functions and product areas
