Aker Solutions at Ågotnes delivers tier one Subsea services to our clients within our strong operational and maintenance segment. We have Aker Solutions’ largest service base and are responsible for all Aker Solutions delivered subsea equipment for the Norwegian continental shelf. We are supporting complex Subsea operations, installation of new subsea fields and circular economy within maintenance both in Norway and globally.

The service base consists of state-of-the-art office facilities and 5 workshops with test pits, test bays and clean rooms (7,000 m2). Our engineers appreciate the close cooperation with the workshop where they can witness how their decisions are put into action on a daily basis.

Aker Solutions Subsea in Ågotnes is now looking for several Project Leads to join us in our mission to #powerthechange.

What will you be doing?

• You will join a dedicated team of highly skilled Project Leads and learn the Project management methods as you go
• Training will be given through our Project Lead Acadamy, and you will receive a mentor to guide you while developing your skills
• Our engineers lead assigned projects within Subsea Lifecycle Services, such as Subsea Offshore Operations, Maintenance and Add-on projects
• As a project lead, you will secure that planning and scheduling is performed in accordance with internal and external requirements
• You will also secure that prices and contribution margins is according to budget, together with your team
• If you like presenting to clients and securing understanding of customer expectations you will thrive in this role
• You will also contribute to financial forecast, identify, prevent and manage project risks for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Work location is in our modern facilities in Ågotnes, 30 minutes drive (against traffic) from Bergen

• You probably have a Master or Bachelor’s degree within technical subjects, but relevant experience within subsea or project management is also a good background to have
• If you have some years of relevant work experience within project management, preferably within the energy industry, you are off to a good start
• Understanding of Subsea projects and services is an advantage, but you will be given all the tools you need to succeed
• Having a structured mindset with good communication and presentation skills are great personal attributes that will be appreciated in this role
• Commercial awareness and experience within commercial issues, contracts and clients will be important
