Sales Manager

Gadus Group is currently in the process of building a modern and robust sales and marketing organisation to market and sell our products, primarily to the European and North American markets. As part of this expansion, we are looking for a Sales Manager who can lead our sales activities for fresh cod products in our markets. In this position you will play a vital role in our sales organisation and be responsible for developing long term relationships with new and existing customers. An important part of the role will be to develop the offering and product solutions in close cooperation with customers and internal stakeholders.


Area of responsibility:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Gadus Groups products, fully integrated value chain, USPs and value propositions
  • Identify new sales opportunities and develop profitable customers
  • Ownership of the full sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the customer journey
  • Together with the rest of the sales and marketing team, contribute towards continuously improving the positioning of our products
  • Business development based on our products, solutions, profit goals and customer feedback
  • Responsible for forecast in close cooperation with operations and processing
  • Contribute to overall go-to-market strategy and execution, including market analysis and market development
  • Contribute towards sales activities, market initiatives and promotional efforts


Your professional profile:

  • Sales experience, with a proven track record, preferably from the seafood or FMCG industry
  • Established network in the food industry, solid value chain understanding and preferably experience from sales to retail and/or HORECA
  • Fluent verbal and written skills in English and preferably Norwegian. Other major European languages will be an advantage
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment delivering premium customer service and satisfaction
  • Ambitious, credible, and trustworthy

Primary location will be at the new and modern Gadus Group HQ in Aalesund, but the role requires extensive travel activity. Other locations can be considered for the right candidate.
