DNB IS LOOKING FOR DEVOPS AZURE INFRA ENGINEERS TO BUILD THE INTEGRATION PLATFORM

In the coming months we will start working on modernizing the API Gateway infrastructure in DNB to support our Multi-Cloud setup. This is exciting work for us as we will provide the API Gateway Infrastructure as a containerized platform in Azure. We are also continuously working on improving our integration tooling on API design and standardization as part of API Governance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of DNBs Center of Excellence team, with focus on APIs and integrations. Together we are building DNBs new distributed API Gateway platform. You will interact closely with your team, architects and other stakeholders in DNB. You like to uncover requirements, understand the domain and are not afraid to learn about systems and the bank domain. You know how to design containerized infrastructure with services from cloud providers and use the best practices from the well architected framework to make new services.

You will be part of a highly competent team responsible for the implementation, maintenance and operations of API Gateway platform, as well as the maintenance of API governance tooling. We have a DevOps culture that aims to automate as much as possible and continuously improve our process. We like to care for each other and share our knowledge with others. The team is composed of engineers with a variety of experience and expertise, and we build on each other's strengths in the everyday work.

Together with our application teams you will design, establish and run our API Gateway infrastructure in Azure based on best practice using container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

As part of the Center of Excellence, you will be providing Infrastructure code templates and application golden images to distributed gateway teams in DNB.

As part of API Governance, you will integrate and maintain tools for API design and standardization, with high focus on automation where possible.

This platform will run DNB most business-critical value chains supporting DNBs customer channels and payment systems handling millions of requests pr day.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• 3-5 years of experience with Azure, confirmed with Azure certifications
• Documented experience on establishing application infrastructure in Azure
• Experience with monitoring, infrastructure as code, test automation and CI/CD
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation or similar frameworks
• Documented experience on either Kubernetes (AKS) or OpenShift (ARO)
• Experience with integration systems such as API Gateways, MQ etc.
• Experience with designing and running business critical cloud infrastructure
• Experience with designing and running highly secure infra
• Experience with designing and running HA systems in Cloud (multi-AZ and multi region)
• Some programming/scripting experience
• Experience with Kong Enterprise API Gateway is positive
• Experience with Open API Design tools like SwaggerHub, Stoplight, Insomnia is positive. Experience in customization of these open source tools is a big advantage.
  Experience with front-end development using JavaScript,TypeScrip and web frameworks(ReactJS) is required.
• Knowledge about API design standards patterns, API specifications and best practices, especially related to REST APIs is positive.
• Very good written and oral communication skills in English
