Job Description:

• Define and deliver Flow Assurance scope for projects in the Company portfolio, through all phases of development, either for in-house execution or by third party contractors.
• Responsible for providing ad hoc support to operations and managing any studies required to support this.
• Responsible for development, benchmarking and validation of thermo-hydraulic models (OLGA) for existing subsea production systems and flowlines.
• Develop and maintain operating guidelines and the operating procedures relevant to Flow Assurance.
• Drive production optimisation through knowledge of Flow Assurance issues (slugging, hydrate plugging risks, wax deposition) and how these affect overall production. Identify and propose changes to shut-down and start-up procedures to reduce production deferment.

• Master of Science or similar in Chemical Engineering or related discipline, preferably with specialisation in fluid dynamics or oil and gas processing.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience with either operators or contractors.
• Expert user of the standard Flow Assurance simulation applications, such as OLGA and PIPESIM, and the associated thermodynamic programs PVTsim and Multiflash. Knowledge of UniSim Design and Petroleum Experts's IPM would also be an advantage.
• Experience of working in multi-discipline teams and managing cross-discipline interfaces.
