Vissim is growing – in scale, in our client-base and in our ambitions to digitalise offshore wind.

We are looking for a Client Executive– Offshore Wind to join and strengthen our Global Wind business. You will focus on our major client, as well as the general Nordic offshore wind market.

The purpose of the role is two-fold:
  • to manage and develop an existing major client - driving value both for our customer, and for Vissim
  • to identify, develop and secure business opportunities with key offshore wind target accounts in the Nordic region. This will involve participating in industry events, building on your own network of contacts, creating tender response material and leading engagements with prospective client

The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge within the offshore wind sector and a clear understanding of opportunities and challenges across the entire offshore wind lifecycle. You have a business mind- and skillset, and a proven track record of closing business. High professional standards of self-motivation, time management, cooperation and collaboration in an international environment are expected, along with first class written and in-person presentation skills. Important traits are curiosity, natural credibility and a strong appreciation of the ability of digital workflows to enhance safety and efficiency in offshore operations.

You will become the strategic point of contact for one of Vissim’s major offshore wind clients, and work with our international Customer Success and Customer Support teams to assist them in making full use of Vissim’s products and services. You have primary accountability for customer satisfaction, business development, financial targets and delivery against an agreed strategy and business plan for your account base/region.

Key responsibility:
  • Plan and implement a strategy for account development
  • Identify, develop and secure opportunities 
  • Measure and report using company CRM tools and reporting format
  • Attend supplier forums and deliver presentations on services, products and concepts as required
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events and meetings as required
  • Manage a broad range of client stakeholders
  • Understand the client's needs and as necessary propose new services to the Vissim Product team

You will report to the Managing Director of Vissim’s Global Wind business. 

The Norwegian offices are located in Lysaker and Horten and the office closest to your location will be your daily workplace, but you have the ability and willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.
