Procurement Manager - Subsea Services Norway & UK

Do you enjoy working in a Lean environment, think strategically and take the lead?

As Procurement Manager you will have the overall responsibility of the procurement for Subsea Services Norway & UK. You will be the connection between Global Sourcing and Procurement function and the Services Center. Providing guidance and input to Global Sourcing Strategies based on the Service Center business needs and market knowledge including local content, as applicable.

The role is a part of a global leadership team and reports to Director Sourcing and Procurement Subsea Services. Regular travel is required to support the team.

Job description

• Responsible for departments competence development in accordance with business need
• Integrate with other functional areas to ensure support in attaining productivity and quality
• Build close partnership with internal and external customer and suppliers
• Plan, follow up and report procurement performance and KPIs
• Perform role as process owner Global Sourcing and Procurement processes Subsea Services Norway & UK
• Develop, improve, and implement processes, policies and procedures that directly impact the function
• Resource planning and budget

You are meant for this job if you have

• Relevant Bachelor degree (i.e. Supply Chain or Business Administration). Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
• Leadership experience
• Lean mindset with continuous focus on improvement
• Extensive experience from supply chain operations or project management within Energy industry or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of global supply chain and category management
• Very strong business acumen, strategic mindset and strong negotiator
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills (Norwegian and English)
• Collaborator at all levels of the organization - adept at interacting with all other functions and senior/executive management
• Results driven and agile to meet changing business needs
• Analytical skills and financial understanding
• Ability to legally work and reside in Norway without sponsorship
