Handelsbanken´s digital unit is a new unit established as a modern, digital organization, having ambitions to build the best digital-first mobile and web banking applications for the retail banking market. To succeed with this, we need a Product Designer/ Copywriter to help shape and ship the product and define the culture of the new digital unit.

We have ambitious goals, fast pace, lots of energy and knowledge of what this means in terms of investments, and willingness to change. Within the new unit, you will play a crucial role in creating the customer experience, while also shaping a great team culture, the product, features, and customer journey. What will your role be as a Product Designer / Copywriter?

As a Product Designer/Copywriter, you will work with a team of fellow designers, product owners, and Backend and Frontend Developers on creating an amazing digital experience across the whole product.

Your day-to-day will consist of taking input from examples in the market and customer research to create a consistent experience in a complex application while collaborating closely with Product Owners on refining requirements. You will ensure a consistent tone of voice across the entire App, and work with visual designers and frontend developers on the implementation in an agile manner.

To thrive in this position, we imagine that you are someone with product acumen, as well as high attention to detail, and quality. As an expert for language, you naturally have strong communication and collaboration skills. Handelsbanken’s digital unitl is still in the early stages, and you need the flexibility to apply start-up methodology and speed in a corporate, regulated environment.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is motivated by making a positive impact in a traditional industry together with the rest of our team.

We would love to hear from you if you have (some of) the following qualifications:

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in Norwegian and English
• Experience defining and refining tone of voice
• High attention to detail to ensure consistent implementation
• Experience with common tooling for collaborative design teams (Figma)/ Design systems/ i18n frameworks
• Advocacy of modern design practices
• Creativity
• Experience working in the financial industry (Bank, Payments)
• 3+ years experience with product design
