Operational Controller
The team, position & mission:
Our dedicated Business Controlling & Intelligence team is committed to empowering the organization through the strategic management of financial data and business processes. The team work towards Norway, Sweden and Germany and consist of technical developers, data analysts and controllers.
As part of the Business Controlling & Intelligence team (6 FTES), our responsibilities include overseeing the billing process, controlling/analysis on both customers and operations. Our approach involves acceptance and processing of data, before being integrated into the billing system and further into BI systems.
This data is leveraged to produce a variety of reports that play a substantial role in supporting the organization. Our team is instrumental in providing the broader organization with critical data for in-depth analysis and informed decision-making.
As an Operational controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our business. Your responsibilities will include implementing strategic initiatives to improve overall operational performance and will foster close partnerships across every department within our organization. You will also perform cost analysis to support the company's financial health and be responsible for creating and maintaining new cost models for current and new services. It will involve maintaining a keen eye on industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to make proactive recommendations for operational enhancements.
Your role and key areas of responsibility:
- Ensure quality in data scripts for billing of cloud products
- Automation of counting of volume products
- Create new cost models
- Maintain/update current cost models
- Analysis of billing data
- Assist infra departments with product management & capacity management analysis
- Create business case
This position calls for an analytical mindset and the dedication to see projects to completion. A coordinated, cooperative, and process-oriented approach is crucial - you'll be be the one asking questions and keeping in touch with stakeholders across the organization.
For this position you should have:
- Minimum bachelor's degree within business or/and tech
- Excellent Excel skills
- Preferably some knowledge in BI systems
- Professional proficiency in English
- Curiosity and an eye for details
