In order to strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Senior Piping Valve Engineer (PRE) who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

Piping Valve PRE: Establish technical requisitions and specification for procurement of valves and piping components
Technical follow-up of deliveries, documentation and suppliers (SDD)
Establish and maintain specifications for piping and valves
Establish specifications for piping special items
Other relevant tasks based on project requirements

We think you should have some of the following:

Master or Bachelor degree or mechanical science.
Ability to work independently in all phases of a project; from study to execution phase
Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
Knowledge of governing regulations and standards; ASME, NORSOK, PED, EN codes etc.
Good general computer technology and knowledge of piping design principles
Experience with- and detailed knowledge of piping valves
Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
