With more than a hundred years of experience, Aibel is a leading supplier within the oil, gas and offshore wind industries. We offer our customers optimal and innovative solutions within engineering, construction, modifications and maintenance throughout the project's life cycle. Exciting, right?

We are now looking for a Industry Development Manager. Aibel's sees a need to strengthen the coordination of activities towards the supplier market, which provides the basis for controlled growth in northern Norway. The position will work closely with the SCM organization, different projects and locations to drive an common increased regional ripple effect for norther Norway. 

Your responsibilities will be: 
Identify new suppliers and maintain a portfolio of suppliers for northern Norway together with SCM

• Initiate and implement qualification process
• Follow up verification of suppliers
• Conduct events for suppliers (Supplier days)
• Engagement, qualification and utilization of local suppliers in Northern Norway - i.e. from Helgeland and north bound

Identify new and alternative solutions that have regional ripple effects

• Regional Alliances
• New technology, AOGV, StopAq, Connections, 3D-print, robotization, drones, etc.

Identify logistic solutions to reduce Co2 footprint and increase regional engagement 

Arrange and facilitate training for new and existing suppliers

• HSE
• Technical requirements such as Quality and Documentation
• Schedule competence

We wish that you possess: 

• Higher education with technical or economic Bachelor / Master degree
• 10 years' experience from supplier industry with BD or project management
• Good understanding of business in the northern Norway

As a person, you are: 

• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Proactive, responsible, and self-driven
• Solution oriented
• Good communication skills
• Excellent in building relations
