QHSE Advisor

Due to continued growth Odfjell Drilling MODU is looking for an experienced QHSE Advisor for a permanent position at our Bergen office. The candidate we are searching must be comfortable with, and be engaged by a busy working environment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS


Higher education (MSc, BSc or equivalent)
Documented experience within quality management, health, safety and environment work on MODU units , as well as improvement processes and risk management
Experience from AOC processes
Good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
Required certificates for offshore travel

DUTIES/TASKS

Coordinate Quality, Health, Environment and Safety work according to action plans, customer and regulatory authority requirements and initiate improvements
Follow-up working environment activities in cooperation with offshore Nurse
Follow-up supervisions, audits and action plans
Follow-up handling of incidents and non-conformities
Support in conducting and facilitating of emergency preparedness analyses
Conduct statistical analyses and verify that corrective steps are completed
Perform monthly reporting accordance with requirements and within due date
Support in development and update of procedures
Cooperate closely with Rig Manager for the respective unit, onshore organization and the company's QHSE department as well as safety function on board
Travel offshore for follow up as needed
Perform audits and investigations
Support in ensuring compliance of Competence Assurance Management system for offshore personnel, according to requirement through regularly monitoring, status overview and proposals of improvement/revisions
Keep operational management updated about things within the area of responsibility, including compiling reports and statistics
Assist with profiling of the company's QHSE work with customers/external parties
Facilitate risk analyses (HAZID, HAZOP, Bowtie, etc.), Change & Constructions reviews and Chemical risk assessments (health and environmental)
Follow-up of regulatory requirements from flag state and area of operation, ensure proper update of AoC/Safety case in accordance with internal procedures and statutory requirements

Ensure that continual improvement of QHSE for installations is planned and set in motion following the company's, customers' and regulatory authorities' guidelines and requirements
Ensure systematic follow up of working environment activities for the relevant MODU
