Are you our new team member? QHSES Coordinator, Bergen

Island Drilling is looking for a motivated QHSES Coordinator who likes to work closely with operations of a MODU. If you have a combination of offshore, technical experience and QHSES understanding and competence, you would be a great resource in our team. You will be based in our offices in Bergen and be part of the QHSES and Rig Management team, but also be part of the international offshore operations with rig QHSE plans, visits, audits etc.

We are working on digital and sustainable solutions for future operations, we like to challenge ourselves and a QHSES coordinator with a proactive attitude is key to meet the goals. 

Tasks:

• Facilitate and drive systematic and continuous quality, health, safety, environmental and sustainability (QHSES) work for Island Innovator
• Head of investigation as well as follow-up and analysis of critical incidents on the rig
• Carry out risk assessments within QHSES
• Active advisor and support to the line management in QHSES work
• Responsibility for continuous follow-up and maintenance of QHSES related tasks in the quality management system
• Develop QHSES reports and maintain statistics
• Assist during tender work

Eligibility requirements:

• Experience from a similar role in a rig/or operator company is a prerequisite
• Higher relevant education within QHSES, relevant experience can replace lack of education.
• Good knowledge of laws, and applicable regulations
• Knowledge and experience with systematic operational QHSES work, including relevant IT tools
• Offshore safety course and approved health certificate
• Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral
