As the construction of our Battery Cell Factory (BCF1) continues at pace, we are excited to announce new openings within our Maintenance Team.

Within this team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of production equipment, utility equipment and other systems to ensure the safe and stable operation of the plant. This team will play a key role during the installation and commissioning of equipment and in achieving Morrow’s goals for sustainable and cost-efficient battery production.

If you are a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician across any of the following disciplines; mechanics, electricians, and automation technicians, then we would be interested in receiving your application.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Work on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on industrial machines according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs using hand and power tools
• Keep an organized log of all machine maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot faulty machines and diagnose the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to solve complex equipment issues
• Maintain maintenance quality to achieve OEE-targets
• Comply with all company policies, in particular those relating to safety, quality and performance
• Do maintenance in clean and dry room atmosphere with protective gear
• Contribute to the development of the maintenance system
• Always look for improvements, and work in improvement teams
• Travel abroad for FAT
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of equipment

Education & Experience

• Certified electrician/automation technician/mechanic
• Experience in maintenance of industrial equipment with PLC-control is a plus
• Understanding of the importance of OEE
• Experience from industrial projects (installation, FAT, commissioning, SAT) is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, procedures and work instructions and translate them into specific activities
• PC skills to utilize input and read-outs from ERP and, work order system, email, incident reporting system, etc.

• Certification in forklift and crane operation is a plus

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Confident in English speaking and writing
• Work permit in Norway
