To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Buyer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

The role holder is responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement package team.
Procurement Packages and bulk materials in accordance with project goals, procedures and work instructions.
Establish and maintain procurement strategies, procurement plans and budgets.
Pre-qualification of suppliers, preparation of inquiries, tender evaluation, negotiation, issuing of purchase orders.
Close dialog with engineering and integration.
Project reporting to Procurement Manager.

Do you have Master or bachelor’s degree or higher technical education
Systematic and analytical skills
Commercially driven with technical insight
Knowledge of contract and contract management
Strong negotiations skills
High integrity and ethical values
Dedicated and pro-active
Distinct team player
Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
