NOV is expanding and we need to strengthen our automation team. The position will be working with automation of compensation systems, drilling cranes and various other machines. NOV has a diverse and mature product portfolio which is in the process of being expanded as new markets develop. Such as electrification energy saving, fish farms, offshore wind, and others. NOV believes in purposeful innovation and is actively pursuing development of technology to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

We are looking for programmers, preferably with some experience but this is not a requirement. Newly educated, or those of you completing education spring-23 are welcome to apply.

Relevant experience can be:

• Siemens classic/Siemens TIA programming suite or other PLC-systems
• Text based programming
• On-site experience with automation systems

Personal traits:

• Eager to learn new stuff
• Collaborative attitude
• Drive to chase improvements

Education:

• Master or bachelor within cybernetics, mechatronic or automation
• Or relevant practice within automation/PLC

You will be surrounded by colleagues working with:

• Electrical power systems
• Simulator technology, bridging the gap between real world control systems and the virtual world
• Automation systems, creating automatic and autonomous control systems for challenging environments
• Control systems, laying the foundation for efficient automation systems
