Business Controller

We are looking for an experienced and forward leaning Business Controller to take up primarily the responsibility for network investments (capex) follow up for Telia Norway, working at the intersection of finance, technology and commercial dimensions.  We need your analytical and business mindset to drive financial planning, forecasting and reporting of network investments, supporting the organization with business cases, and generally become an active part of various local or corporate initiatives.

The role includes, but is not limited to: 

• Lead forecast process for network investments, following group timelines and framework
• Develop or support development of business cases for specific investments, securing alignment between stakeholders and preparing decision material
• Support management in the prioritization process for allocation of funds by preparing relevant material for the investment forums
• Conduct monthly business reviews related to investment execution with project managers and business owners
• Perform month-end closing procedures and prepare monthly reports for Norway organization and group executive management
• Ensure compliance with group internal controls and accounting standards related to investments, in consultation with expert colleagues from financial control
• Assist with information related to investments required by other stakeholders, such as auditors and NKOM (national communications regulatory authority), typically twice each year

Your Experience:

• Higher education (min 4 years) in a finance domain 
• Minimum 5 years experience in business control roles
• Very good skills in Excel and Power Point, ability to create effective visualizations of data, analysis, options and recommendations. Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Excellent communication in English both oral and written (corporate language), Norwegian is an advantage
• Experience with developing business cases and business plans, structured financial analysis and modelling skills 
• Ability to develop the necessary network in the organization and align stakeholders 
• Experience working close and present to management
