Our department at Stord is now looking for Procurement staff.
What will you be doing?
- Sourcing and pre-qualification of suppliers
- Prepare and issue enquiries & contracts
- Ensure technical and commercial awareness in the procurement processes
- Negotiate contracts and purchase orders
- Prepare and develop procurement plans & contracts for all purchases
- Ensure timely deliveries and correct quality in accordance with agreed budget and schedule
- Ensure that all activities related to the procurement work are performed according to established procedures, guidelines, and business policy
- Follow-up, control, and report progress on contracts. Including field and desk expediting
- Develop and maintain supplier relations
- The position may include travelling
We think you should have:
- Technical and/or financial education at college level
- Eventually long experience from the industry and/or within procurement and supply chain management
- Experience within procurement and supply chain management
- Multi-discipline understanding and commercial skills
- Good understanding of customer needs
- Team-player attitude
- Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
- Innovative and creative mindset
