Our Mechanical Components Department in Tranby, Norway is now looking for a Senior Product Engineer - Valves & Actuators

What will you be doing?

• Collaborate with Specialist Engineers in maintaining and developing preferred offerings within dedicated product portfolio
• Support ongoing project deliveries, including product testing and supplier follow-up.
• Contribute to technology development programs
• Participate in gap analysis for dedicated product portfolio relating to governing standards and specifications
• Co-operate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing on product related tasks

We think you should have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably mechanical), with 3-5 years’ experience from the oil & gas industry, preferably within subsea systems
• A proven component level knowledge of product area i.e., material technologies, sealing materials, internal design of sub-assembly products
• Experience in product development and qualification and knowledge of relevant standards within subsea systems
• Experience with CAD software (Solidworks) and proficiency in SAP ERP system is preferred
• A proven knowledge of product area with a recognized track-record of excellence
• Professional spoken and written communication skills in English
• The ability to take initiative and ownership of product related activities
• Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
• A dynamic and flexible work style and you enjoy working in a high-paced environment
