As a Materials Manager you will plan and organize the supply chain materials planning activities and resources to improve material flow, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Your tool will be Oracle EBS and you will use the system to maximize the effectiveness of the Factory workflows and processes. 

You will work with:

• Responsible for the purchasing, warehouse and quality control functions for our factory
• Create, implement, and refresh the functional strategic plan and implement appropriate programs to address evolving business requirements or issues, collaborating with Group and other divisions, regions, carriers, freight forwarders and other supply chain partners.
• Align development plans for managers to the functional strategic plan to create structure, accountability, responsibility, and focus.
• Participating in the development of long-term strategy and roadmaps in the areas of responsibility.
• Building and leveraging relationships and networks across the organization and with our suppliers.

This is you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (extensive experience in the supply chain field can compensate for lack of formal education)
• Several years of experience from procurement / supply chain
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Results and solutions focused
• Confident, articulate and able to influence at all levels with exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Strong analytical skills and excellent judgement
• Norwegian and English fluently
