We are currently looking for a talented Junior Project Manager to join our team of professionals and become a part of MacGregor's Offshore Service Division and the Global Service Division (GSD) Family. The Junior Project Manager shall complete our “easier” projects through tender, the successful execution, and delivery of service projects. 

As a Junior Project Manager you will assume ownership of all assigned project scopes to ensure they are delivered in line with MacGregor policies and meet the client requirements. You will cooperate with all parties with e.g. MacGregor, class societies, manufactures / suppliers or others by need. Your responsibilities will require managing individually assigned projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Ownership, execution and delivery of assigned projects in accordance with Operating Principal Manual (OPM), Integrated Management System (IMS) and project execution guidelines
• Supporting Project Sales Managers during tender / proposal / bid phase
• Provision of technical support to other departments where required (Parts Sales etc)
• Promote MacGregor products and capabilities (upgrades, retrofit, life extension, modernization etc.)
• Maintain technical knowledge of products and solutions across the MacGregor product range
• Contribute to the implementation of the project teams strategic plans
• Perform any ad-hoc activities as required

What you’ll need to succeed

• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings and bill of materials
• Technical problem solving capability
• Understanding of repair, replace and overhaul methodologies
• Technical communication skills
• Knowledge of SAP and SAP Project Module
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferable
• Knowledge of Marine, Offshore or Merchant Shipping industries preferable
• Understanding of relevant classification and regulatory requirements preferable
• Use of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive etc.)
• Ability to travel locally and internationally
