We aim to strengthen our RPD Technology team with an Automation & Process Control Engineer to perform RPD system technology development and machine building processes supporting NTi business model. You will be a part of a team working with experts within metallurgy, software development, image processing, mechanical design, and manufacturing.

What your day looks like:

• Development, design and implementation of models, control strategies and algorithms in the Automation platform, supporting the requirements and constraints from the Material, Process and Product team, improving the business KPI's and the robustness of the RPD process
• Execute development projects as Project manager including cross-functional project teams and vendors
• Collaborate with automation specialists in implementation of control and algorithms
• Proactively identify and specify needs and requirements of sensors, and collaborate with sensor and analysis experts in development and implementation
• Plan and execute testing on RPD system to obtain process data for control synthesis and verify robustness of implemented process control systems

We’re thrilled to find Candidates with:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering Cybernetics/ Control theory
• Knowledge in advanced Mathematics and/or Physics
• A proactive mindset who is self-driven and eager to learn
• Broad technical interest and experience from a manufacturing environment
• Structure and accuracy in daily work
• Creativity and ability to improve product development and production methods
• A collaborative mindset able to support cross-functional project teams
