We are seeking a results-oriented person with a strong interest in investments and active ownership. The successful candidate must have the capacity to work both in teams and independently and be a resource for others in our investment departments. The position is based in Oslo and will report to the Vice President Financial Institutions.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Lead or participate as an investment team member in all phases of the investment process from assessing new opportunities to investing, managing, and exiting.
- Evaluate potential investments through due diligence, financial modelling and preparation of investment proposals and papers.
- Assess risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Contribute to sourcing and development of investment opportunities.
- Follow up investments and update portfolio management systems.
- Participate in projects and represent in committees.
- Support other team members.
Specific qualifications for this position:
- Master’s in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent with strong academic results.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience from investments and/ or the financial sector.
- Strong client orientation and ability to build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- A team player with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
- Result oriented with a structured, proactive, and efficient work style.
- Investment or other relevant experience from the fintech sector will be an advantage.
