Our new Senior Mechanical Engineer will work in an interdisciplinary team developing hydrofoil systems for high-speed vessels. This person will be involved in both R&D and project execution.

• Take ownership of the development of the mechanical components and interfaces of the hydrofoil system.
• Define system requirements and specifications.
• Close dialogue with suppliers of mechanical components.
• Close collaboration with the Lift Ocean interdisciplinary technical team.
• Being part of a small but growing company, other tasks may also be required.

• Relevant higher degree education
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical design.
• Practical experience in developing, testing, and validating dynamic mechanical systems
• Knowledge of related technologies such as control systems, power electronics, batteries, and composites will be advantageous.
• Experience in the maritime or aviation industry is beneficial.
• General strong computer skills (Microsoft tools, CAD, programming, etc.)
