It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while perusing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. The role is Failure Analysis Engineer and offers the right candidate[IJ1]  a unique opportunity to influence and create value from day one.

We have recently established a high-end electrical and physical FA Laboratory at our Design Headquarters in Trondheim, Norway. We are now looking for a FA Engineer to increase the bandwidth in the regular operation of the Laboratory.

 You will work closely together with your colleagues in the Failure Analysis team as well as with other parts of the organization (Test & Verification, Design, Product Engineering) needed for efficient case handling and methodology development.

Key responsibilities

  • Operation and use of modern, high-end FA tools
  • Producing written documentation, including analysis procedures and failure analysis reports, which are valuable for internal stakeholders as well as customers and suppliers 
  • Maintenance of FA lab tools and equipment to ensure reliable and consistent operation 

Qualifications and skills

  • Masters Degree in a relevant area, preferably Electronics, Materials Science or Semiconductors 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective team work and problem-solving across the Nordic organization 
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
