PT is now looking for an ambitious business analyst to support the financial processes on our growth journey. This is a unique opportunity if you want to become a part of the industrial solution of tomorrow. The business Analyst will report VP PT Finance. The position is located in Oslo, Norway.

Key responsibilities / tasks:

• Support the business controlling team in monthly reporting, business planning and forecasting for the plants
• Perform analysis of the financial and operational performance of the unit and serve as business partner to VP Finance Precision Tubing
• Support controlling of the PT HQ unit
• Assist with preparation of monthly presentations, including analysis for consolidated PT and on variances of regional/unit results, margin, sales and productivity development
• Provide data analysis for opportunities for improvement and benchmarking across regions/locations
• Lead various AD-HOC business development and process improvement projects
• Support improvement activities in regions on a project basis

To be able to present business insight to different stakeholders strong communication and presentation skills in business english are needed. Additional languages skills are a plus.

We believe that the right candidate is both motivated and have the right competencies to take on this task.

Key Qualifications

• Master's degree, preferably within economics/finance/business, engineering or another quantitative discipline with strong academic records
• 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably but not limited to management consulting, corporate finance, data modeling/analytics or another analytical/business-related role
• Previous experience and/or strong interest in working for an industrial company
• Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
