We are looking for a field-based District Manager based in the South of Norway, to mainly cover Sørlandet in various defined geographical districts.
As District Manager you will report directly to our Senior Sales Director and be part of our competent and dedicated Primary Care team. The team is responsible for developing the diabetes and obesity market in Norway and driving both diabetes and obesity portfolio strategy towards primary care, together with the broader cross-functional team, including key account managers, medical affairs, market access, and public affairs.
The Position
As the leader of your territory, you will play a key role in representing Novo Nordisk and being the preferred partner within diabetes and obesity. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan for your geographical area and achieving targets through implementation of marketing strategies aimed at effectively promoting Novo Nordisk services and products to health care practitioners (HCPs).
The role will require you to take an entrepreneurial approach and you will be expected to operate with a high level of autonomy. You must demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer needs, anticipate and adapt action plans to maximize opportunities, and address challenges, excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely follow-up. You will work across different external stakeholders including, but not limited to GPs, nurses, and key opinion leaders, The position is field based and requires extensive business traveling.
Qualifications:
- You hold as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in science (e.g. nursing), and/or have broad experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of exceptional commercial acumen and selling skills
- You have good digital skills in digital solutions, CMR systems, and MS Office programs
- You have excellent Norwegian and English language skills in both written and spoken
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel

- You have analytical skills and the structure and strategic mindset to be able to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously
- You are a quick learner and can communicate scientific information effectively
