VP Legal and Contracts

AKVA group is well positioned to take a leading role as the industry is facing multibillion investments on a global scale, both at sea and land. The position as VP Legal and Contracts in AKVA group will have the overall responsibility for legal and contract management at corporate level. The position reports to CFO and will be part of the CFO management team.   

Main tasks:

• Overall responsibility for legal and contract management in AKVA group
• Providing legal advice within the company’s business areas
• Contract negotiations, drafting agreements and legal follow-up
• Proactive identification and management of legal risks in close cooperation with our business units
• Increase commercial and contractual understanding across the group
• Guide and assist colleagues in legal and contractual matters
• Conducting general quality assurance work internally as well as preparing and carrying out training on legal and contractual matters
• When applicable coordinate and work closely with external legal expertise  

Education and experience:

• Legal degree (LL.M)
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Precise and high-quality writing skills
• International experience is an advantage
• High proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken
