Servicedesk Engineer

Permanent Employment – Kristiansand

As a Servicedesk engineer, associate will be a front line support for providing the call support to users. The role is not limited to support over call, but also support the first line and deskside support on the client location for the issues faced or support required for the users timely. This role gives a potential to learn/explore more on the technology to expertise on the support. Associate would also have opportunity to exhibits his/her key skills on running major/minor activities on his own.

About the Team / Business Unit 

This position is to support the Servicedesk support for one of the leading energy & utility’s client in Norway. Team is operating from client location and give more opportunity is not expertizing in the Servicedesk area but also on the other technologies such as Azure, End user computing, O365, etc. This role does not restrict the team to stay within the close circle of support. Team has emerged to handling modern technologies a way far from only handling calls and outdated systems. This role gives the best for the knowledge explorers both theoretical and practical. 

About You: 

You will be part of the Servicedesk team who will be majorly handling incident & requests from end users via ticketing system and phone calls. As part of support, you will have opportunity to meet end users and travel to nearby office locations to fix the problems for the users with plan and appointments. You will on various projects activities (as projects available and planned) to exhibit the skills and talent on the management/handling. 

Your Key Result Areas:

•   End user support via phone/email/ticketing tool/chat.

•   Linguistic support for the team and users as required in the support. 

•   First level of support for the end users and business in solving the cases or redirecting to right team. 

•   Work along within and other teams to achieve the best solution for the cases. 

•   Share and develop ideas/knowledge to improvise the skill and support. 

Required & nice to have Skills:

Must Haves

1.   Strong experience is handling the end user call support in Norwegian and English. 

2.   Knowledge on handling the first line of basic support for the end users. 

3.   Ability to understand the user or business requirements to fulfil their requests or solve the issues. 

4.   Good problem solving and team player attitude 

5.   Team player on linguistic support to break the barriers between the whole team and users. 

 Nice to Have/ Your chance to grow

1.) Knowledge on the Azure, O365 or end user computing technologies. 

2.) Ability to plan and handle the activities as team player and/or individual member on required tasks.
