Master Data Management Specialist

The position

• Responsible for implementing, maintaining and further develop the Master Data Management (MDM) process. 
• Gather, define and prioritize business requirements together with the Head of Data Warehouse, the Data Lead and the Stakeholders. 
• Analyze all requests to create or change master data (customers, products, locations, etc) to ensure the requests conform to existing business processes and system constraints. 
• Ensures Master Data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality and suggesting improvements.  
• Work closely with the Business/IT/Data Squads to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations. 
• Set up & maintain internal catalogs in system. 
• Conducts data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access.

• Relevant Bachelor/Master’s degree – Relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education.
• 3+ years ofexperience in Master Data management. 
• Experience in Project lead related to Master Data.  
• Experience working on SQL/Python.
• Experience working with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines in database warehousing and other relevant systems.
• Strong communication skills in English to be able to communicate with team members, stakeholders, external data providers, and management.
