This position will take a leading role within cyber security in Wilhelmsen by being responsible for internal security architecture policies, standards and controls built on best practice.

What you will work on:

• Monitoring of security trends, threat landscape and emerging technologies 
• Maintain and continuously improve internal security posture & maturity
• Initiate and manage security and penetration tests, maintain overview of findings and coordinate mitigating activities 
• Work closely with the business divisions related to the application security domain
• Design and implement security tools related to monitoring and detection of cyber threats
• Take part in security audits and other relevant tasks as part of the Wilhelmsen global cyber security team 

Who you will work with: 

This position will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that applications, systems, and platforms are made secure by design and that effective security controls are implemented. They will be a great teammate who is highly motivated for action, can work autonomously and is willing to jump in where needed. This role reports to the Head of Cyber Security.  

Relevant qualifications for this role:

• University degree, minimum bachelor’s degree, in Cyber security, programming or similar fields. Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education
• Relevant security certifications is a plus (e.g. CCSP, CCSK, CISSP or similar 
• Security Architecture or Secure by Design 
• Cloud native Security (with focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365)
• Application Security 
• Development or scripting
• Vulnerability management or penetration testing 
• Experience with guiding projects and initiatives on security best practices 
• A strong believer in the "Zero Trust" approach to Cyber Security
• Self-driven and able to take on own initiatives
• Good collaboration and communication skills
