We’re Carbon Limits, a dynamic climate change consultancy located in the heart of Oslo.  

Can you help our dedicated team of climate experts make an even bigger impact by optimising our finances, resources, and operations?

 This is not a job for a ‘bean counter’. It’s for someone who understands how financial and operational strategies impact every part of a growing business.  

 We’re looking for someone who has several years’ experience in business consulting, business management, or finance, and who wants to continue their development in a supportive, innovative, positive environment.

 As well as working with our MD and amazing accountant for the standard accounting activities, you will also be responsible for financial strategy and planning, business performance management, as well as market analysis and insight.

 As a growing business, we need to prepare our processes and operations for the future. You will lead analysis and planning in areas such as finance, legal, processes, HR, and IT – so you need to be interested in the ‘inner mechanics’ of the business, even if you are not an expert in some of these areas.

 Your Skill Set:

• Financial Acumen: Degree in Business Administration or Finance (relevant master's degree, MBA, etc.) and 5 years of experience in finance, ideally within a consulting or similar environment.
• Excel Expertise: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with experience in developing and utilizing complex financial models.
• Analytical Rigor: Display meticulous attention to detail, an eye for spotting errors, and a penchant for innovative analysis.
• Adaptability: Embrace a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Be open to learning and adapting on the job across various functions.
• Passion for Climate Action: Share our commitment to mitigating climate change and contributing to the growth of a company that empowers climate champions.
