Transocean is looking for a highly motivated Strategic Sourcing Supervisor who is seeking an opportunity to develop professionally in a international environment.

The Strategic Sourcing Supervisor, Services and Projects is responsible to provide efficient and high quality support to the Sourcing and tendering processes continuously launched to secure our competitive advantage in the drilling market.
Responsibility is primarily for Norway and Europe, and is supported by a global team of Supply Chain Professionals with category responsibilities.
The position is responsible for optimizing cost, performance and competitiveness by actively seeking improvements in the supplier market as well as ensuring our internal organization is in compliance with the requirements set for tendering process by the company. Support the operation management and onshore organization for new requests, tenders, workorders and coordination of global tenders and agreements or implementation of those with our Global Sourcing team.

Responsibilities:

Regional responsibility of sourcing events specifically for services and projects.
Frequent analytics and review of spend to identify commercial opportunities.
Lead Sourcing events and development of new vendors.
Create and develop Scope of works, Work Orders and various frame agreements.
Coordinate improvement opportunities with Global Sourcing or Lead locally-driven improvement projects.
Regularly communicate upcoming demands with operations to anticipate and prepare for sourcing needs.
Drive various continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and enforce compliance with regulatory and company management systems including internal controls and documentation of same.

Qualifications:

Master Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economy or equivalent. Extensive experience may replace missing formal education.
Proven track record from previous assignments.
Experience from tendering and development of supplier contracts.
Extensive experience in negotiation and negotiation techniques.
Extensive knowledge regarding standard oil and gas contracts similar to for example LOGIC contract – Services On- and Offshore, Ed. 4.
Proven Management Experiences and Skills.
Must be fluent in English language, both written and verbal.
