Our client is the leading EPC supplier of aluminum living quarters for the offshore oil and gas industry on the Norwegian continental shelf. The client has many interesting ongoing projects and several that are in the start-up phase. 
They have a strategy to also embrace other exciting business areas. 

They have a large engineering team and are based at Stord. Due to increased workload, they are looking for many new engineers and this time they need a skilled ENGINEER to HSE in Design.

Project

• Concept and FEED of modification projects
• Basic & Detail engineering of LQ projects (NCS),

Job description

The HSE in design discipline is responsible for all technical safety and technical working environment deliverables for our living quarters including documentation, reviews, risk assessments, CAD design, client communication and more.

Relevant factors, among others, are:

• Escape and evacuation
• Active and passive fire protection
• Safety Performance standards
• Ergonomics
• WE area limits
• Chemical evaluation
• Noise Control
• Etc.

• Coordination with other engineering disciplines is a major part of the disciplines list of tasks.
• The most relevant task for this personnel request is several studies (Concept & FEED) and projects within our maintenance and modification area. Assistance and tasks on other ongoing projects will also be evaluated based on applicant’s background and experience. For one of the projects experience and knowledge of working environment engineering is preferable.

• Our client can offer valuable and challenging work experience in a competent and friendly engineering environment. Our yard is located right next to our engineering office which provides a unique chance to witness the construction phase from start to finish.
• Working remote is optional, however some presence at Stord offices will be required.

Competence

• Bachelor  - Engineer
• Min. 5-10 years of relevant HSE experience from oil and gas/offshore
• Multidisciplin Coordination
• Compliance evaluations vs offshore regulations and safety standards
• Offshore working environment & safety Design experience
• NORSOK Standards and PSA regulations
• International standards (UK regulations)

IT systems

• Office: Word, excel etc.
• Navisworks

Duration

• Start: ASAP
• End: 31.12.2023

• Norwegian and English

• Working remote is optional, however some presence at Stord offices will be required.
