We are looking for a Project Planner to join our team at Skøyen, Oslo.
We seek a dedicated, positive person with experience from EPC projects and with the Primavera tool. We are a team in growth, have been through several acquisitions and different organisations, and the person for the job must be solution-oriented, pragmatic and have a constructive mindset.

Our projects are high-tech EP and EPC contracts in the size of 5-100 million EUR and with a duration of 18-36 months. The Project Planner is responsible for the project planning and scheduling of tender and project execution projects.
Planning includes establishment of schedules, monitoring of progress compared to schedule commitments, management of the project float, pro-active identification of risks and opportunities, and recommendation of actions to drive on-time performance with the goal to complete the project on time. The Project Planner is a member of the Project Management Team.
Major responsibilities
Schedule integration & co-ordination:
be familiar with the contract, regarding for example reporting requirements, contractual / LD milestones
·Integration of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning schedules into the overall project schedule, and manage the schedule interface with the customer, and, if applicable, consortium partners.
Detailed Project Schedule:
Develop the contract-stage schedule for all awarded projects based on the Tender-stage project schedule and based on contract requirements reflecting the designated level of detail for all functional execution deliverables.
ensure that planning, monitoring and reporting is in accordance with internal processes
Follow-up:
Provide timely updating of contract schedules through project execution, expediting functional groups as required.
Schedule Change Management:
Incorporate contract changes in the Project Schedule and document consequences.
In order to track potential change orders and claims, new activities in the schedule should be added when initiated by Project or Contract Manager.
Analysis:
Analyse schedule performance compared to the established project plan using critical path analysis method (CPM) and float management, with a focus on early identification of risks and opportunities to facilitate pro-active actions that will optimize on-time performance of internal and sub-contracted deliverables.
Advise Project Manager and other functional Project Team members of status and recommended strategies to respond to identified risks and opportunities.
Reporting:
Track and report schedule performance
Prepare schedule and progress reports including S-curves as per contract and internal requirements.
Communicate updated revisions of the project schedule with adapted layouts to the project team.
Close-out:
Establish an as-built schedule depicting a comparison of the original baseline versus the actual execution identifying project specific specialties for major deviations.
Cross Project Scheduling:
Participate in the establishment and maintenance of an integrated cross-project scheduling system that could support overall resource planning.
Representation:
Provide functional representation on project schedule matters with partners, suppliers and clients.
Preferred education/training/experience
Basic knowledge of Primavera tool
Experience of Engineering, Procurement and Construction project planning
Other remarks
Ability to and willingness to travel to project sites, client offices, supplier factories and other REEL locations
Speak and write fluently Norwegian and English
Are you even familiar with GTCs and FTCs? It would be an advantage but not a must.
