About the role:

HydrogenPro is looking for a mechanical engineer, which will participate in successful completion and delivery of our green hydrogen plant projects. Our project pipeline is quickly growing and you will have a central role to impact our equipment, project delivery and further development. Our team consist of several disciplines, so coordination and a complete system understanding is important.

Responsibilities include:

-       Develop mechanical design in our projects from concept to completion in different phases of our project

-       Make construction drawings

-       Be a discussions partner towards our R&D department and factories

-       Participate in FAT on request

-       Follow-up and interact with colleagues, clients, customers, and vendors

-       Participate in tender and pre-qualification work

-       Ensure that projects are carried out in compliance with requirements from authorities, customers and HydrogenPro.

-       Produce technical documents in the design and project phase

-       Produce MRB (material record book) after projects are delivered

-       Be the company’s resource person in steel structure and piping topics

-       Give input on improvement of the company’s products and production quality

-       Support our fabrication department on technical questions during construction

-       Support the procurement department with technical specification for purchased items

Who are you?

-       Minimum bachelor degree in mechnical engineering

-       Minimum 5 years relevant experience

-       Experience with multidiscipline projects, preferably from energy or process industry

-       Experience with Inventor or SolidWorks in 3D modeling

-       Experience with AutoCAD for 2-d design work

-       Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral

-       Structured and independent

-       Eager to learn and develop

-       Team player
