We are looking for an ambitious and self-drivenFinance partner to join the management team in the Cards business area. 

This role will also be part of the Nordic Finance function in Tietoevry Banking.

Tietoevry Banking is the market leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. Our team of 3,500+ banking and technology experts help financial institutions to be more competitive. The Cards business area is the leading Northern European card processor with a complete value chain of card services.

Our new finance partner will deliver best in class finance support and challenge and guide the Cards management team. The role is also part of the finance team in Tietoevry Banking which supports the banking and fintech business by providing financial management, commercial insight and analysis. Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills are key to foster solid collaborative relationships with all parties. The role requires deep economic insight and the ability to understand our business and value chain.

Responsibilities:

• Work in close dialogue with the Head of Cards and the rest of the management team to drive insight and improvements in our business area.
• Secure that the business area makes use of the best set of KPIs and reporting
• Manage the financial planning, budget and forecast processes, in coordination with the overall Tietoevry Banking process.
• Provide insightful analysis to secure god understanding of the business performance
• Run the monthly operational review with the Cards management team

Required knowledge and skills:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree within the field of economics, finance or similar
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience with track record and commercial management experience, mainly on a senior leadership level
• Experience from working in a large company is an advantage
• Good relationship-builder, takes initiative and is constantly looking for opportunities for improvement and simplification
• Flexible in responding to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, productive and efficient worker
• Strong oral and written skills in Scandinavian language(s) and English
• Strong digital competence, such as Excel and other relevant tools
• Experience with preparation of documentation
• Technical and commercial understanding
• Interest in or knowledge from the card payment area
• Good understanding of the banking and finance sector
• Background as a project manager is an advantage
• Strong presentation skills
