We are looking for a team manager with fundamental business understanding, a proactive mindset and excellent at building team spirit.

About the job

Joining the Framework and Integrations Team at Hansen means joining a growing organization, where we maintain, develop, and expand our provided products, services, and integrations. Our solutions are created within an open and friendly atmosphere and are a technical part of the Hansen CIS product EnoroCX used for the Nordic Energy market.

The EnoroCX system used by our clients are both available on-prem at the client’s own data center or offered as Software as a Service from Hansen in both private cloud and Azure.

The Framework and Integration team has focused on Azure services. and today our team consists of several developers, architects, product owner and system analysts. The members are located at various Hansen offices in Norway, Sweden, or Finland with Lillehammer as the main location.

This position as team manager is located at our Lillehammer office and are reporting to the Head of Department situated in our Oslo office.

Responsibility

  • The Manager is team and goal oriented; with a drive to maintain a strong team spirit with good atmosphere and a hands-on approach.
  • Coaching team members and motivating them to do the best work possible
  • Participate in and report status to the management team
  • Together with the dev lead, responsible for estimating product development, change requests from customers and maintenance
  • Drive the ongoing maturity of the development methodology and practices. 
  • Resource planning for projects and deliveries
  • HR responsibility for the team members
  • Immediate manager for the team members
  • Salary negotiations
  • Follow-up of sickness absence, holiday processing etc
  • Participate in the recruitment of new resources
  • Follow up the time registration of the team members

Daily follow-up

  • The point of contact for the product's stakeholders
  • Facilitate scrum events
  • Identify and optimize work processes
  • Helping the product owner with preparing and prioritizing the backlog
  • Assist the team by removing obstacles that delay progression

The Manager will take site ownership of our Lillehammer office.

We mainly work with the following technologies

  • Microsoft .NET and C# (framework and core)
  • ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC (REST, Soap, JSON, XML)
  • Azure Services, Azure ServiceFabric and microservices
  • Message based systems (ServiceBus)
  • Unit testing
  • OAuth 2.0 (IdentityServer 4/AzureAD)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • The basis of our product EnoroCX is written in pl/sql.

Desired qualifications

  • Higher technical education (, preferably within IT (?))
  • Demonstrated technical leadership / mentoring skills
  • Experience with technology shift / change management
  • Clear communication in English and Norwegian (spoken and written)
  • Experience in line management of developers
  • Exposure to or interest in cloud platforms (Azure & AWS) along with microservices architecture would be a plus.
